The City of Chester Board of Police Commissioners will conduct the written examination for the position of Chester Police Officer at 9:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in the City Council Chambers at Chester City Hall, located at 1330 Swanwick Street, Chester, Illinois.
Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, possess a valid driver’s license, and have no felony convictions and certain misdemeanor convictions. Applicants must submit to an extensive background investigation. Minimum eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED.
